Learning about the Local Church
At the age of 11 I gave my heart to the Lord quite sincerely; but I really received no direction as to how to go on in this new life. I tried, attending many Bible studies, Christian meetings and Bible School and college, but I must say that the deeper meaning of the Christian life was not revealed to me. Then one day in 1983 I touched the local church. I must say it really sparked something in me, but I still held on to what I knew and had. But gradually, through the clear speaking of Christian brothers and sisters and the wonderful truths in the Bible being opened up to me, I was attracted to the Lord. Now I just know there is no other place for me!
